Welcome to Wired Whippet Coffee, an enchanting art cafe nestled in the heart of Ossett at 53a The Grn, WF5 0AL, United Kingdom. This cozy gem offers more than just a caffeine fix; it’s a delightful escape for those seeking quality and creativity in their coffee and sweet treats.

Stepping inside Wired Whippet, you’re greeted by a warm, inviting atmosphere that’s both bohemian and artisan. The beautifully decorated space radiates a charming vibe that is accentuated by artwork from local artists, making it a feast for the eyes as much as the palate. It’s the perfect spot to unwind, catch up with friends, or even get some work done in a relaxed setting.

Wired Whippet prides itself on serving exceptional coffee that is both light and fruity. Customers rave about the custom blend that awakens the senses and invigorates the spirit. As Gavin Whyte enthusiastically attests, “The coffee is light and fruity, and all the cakes are homemade.” With a tempting array of homemade cakes, including the irresistible Biscoff blondie and Vegan Victoria Sponge, each bite promises to satisfy your sweet cravings. The cheese scone with onion pickle is also a must-try, delivering savory goodness that pairs perfectly with your brew.

But it’s not just about the food and drink; it's the friendly service that makes the experience here truly special. Sean Craven noted the friendly attendants who made his visit memorable — “Friendly service and reasonably priced. I’d definitely come back.”

The cafe's dedication to keeping the community spirit alive is evident, as they support local artists by showcasing their work for sale. This not only enhances the aesthetic but connects you to the local culture, making every visit unique. A lovely afternoon could easily combine a delicious coffee experience with a stroll through nearby Green Park where you can enjoy the serenity and nature.

Whether you’re a local or just passing through (as Rachel Jones mentions, it’s just 1.5 miles from Junction 40 on the M1), don’t miss out on this delightful space. From its vividly colored walls adorned with art to the heartwarming aroma of freshly brewed coffee, Wired Whippet Coffee is truly a little slice of heaven in Ossett. Come for the coffee, stay for the cozy atmosphere, and leave with a smile on your face and a treat in your hand. It's a place that will undoubtedly become your favorite spot to refuel.

Highly recommended. The coffee is light and fruity, and all the cakes are homemade. The service is great. And they support local artists. You can’t ask for much more from your local coffee shop.

I was working in the area and fancied a good coffee and something to eat. Wired Whippet delivered a very tasty flat white, delicious cheese scone with onion pickle and a generous slice of biscoff blondie which was really nice. Certainly sorted my sweet tooth. Friendly service and reasonably priced. I’d definitely come back, I probably will tomorrow, the s’mores were calling to me

Absolutely amazing gem of a place, our only frustration is not having visited sooner. Have been in twice in as many days, once with my infant son to see what it was like and the second visit to show my wife how amazing it is. Genuinely could not wish for a nicer place for coffee and cake and with it being over the road from Green Park there's always time for a lovely little walk and a go on the swings for my son. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming and the coffee and baking is second to none, quite honestly the prices could be increased 50% and the quality of refreshments and service would still make it incredible value for money. Ultimately the biggest shame is the limited seating due to the size of the cosy venue but even if you visit and are unable to sit in the take out will still be incredible and well worth a visit. Rated as 5/5 stars as Google doesn't allow a 10 star rating

Heading off to a lunchtime wedding, the drummer suggested dropping in at Wired Whippet rather than a faceless motorway coffee. You know that thing when you walk in somewhere and it just smells sooo good? That. Really good custom blend coffee, and the selection of cakes looked amazing. Nice chat as the brewing was happening, too. Heartily recommend!

Visited for the first time today on a recommendation, Wired Whippet did not disappoint. Cosy and comfortable inside for a work meeting, staff were polite and gave us space to talk. Delicious hot chocolate, very chocolatey Will definitly be back.

Stunning and intimate small family run coffee shop with outstanding locally roasted coffee and delicious homemade cake. We opted for the Vegan Victoria Sponge and Lemon cake. Dog and kid friendly, relaxed atmosphere and a really great local and welcoming feel. Beautiful decor with a Boho/Artisan vibe. Great to see local artist work for sale here too! Deffo what Ossett needs. This will do well and is now my new fave local coffee shop, i just need a dog! Well done Ben and Joanne. See you soon x

My favourite place to "refuel" either before or after a 4+ hour drive on the M1. The coffee & cakes are delicious and the owner is always welcoming. Only 1.5 miles from Junction 40 (M1) so if you're passing it's definitely worth the short detour
